Meet Up and Eat Up
This summer we have an opportunity to continue to grow our
relationship with Great Lakes Elementary and bless families in the school through a program called Meet Up and Eat Up.
Meet Up and Eat Up is a way to provide a healthy, free lunch and fun activities to kids at the Holiday West Mobile Home Park. Many of the Great Lakes Elementary children live at Holiday West, which is located next to the school. The program is run all summer long by Neighbors Plus, but VictoryPoint has committed to lead this event for two weeks in June.
When?
Monday-Friday, June 12-16 and Monday-Friday, June 19-23
How many days am I serving?
We need a minimum of five volunteers for a total of ten days (50 people), so you can serve anywhere from one day to as many as all ten!
What’s my time commitment?
12:30-1:30 (we ask that you arrive at 12:15) NOTE TIME CHANGE!!
What am I asked to do?
It’s easy. You’ll hang-out, have fun, sit with the kids during lunch, and help facilitate an activity provided by Herrick Library, Neighbors Plus, or the Holland Museum. That’s it!
Who can volunteer?
Anyone high school age or older (middle school age can serve with an accompanying adult).
